In the lore:
Shadow Fen is a cursed reflection of our world – a realm split by the Sundering, where ancient magic cracked the sky and five guardians vanished into mist. A land of broken keeps, spectral fens, and the last resistance: the Vanguard.
In reality:
Shadow Fen is a fantasy-inspired power metal band based in the UK. We tell stories through riffs, melody, and myth, blending high fantasy with huge guitars and dark theatrics. If you like your metal epic, cinematic, and lore-rich – you’re in the right place.
🜃 Progress Report: The Debut Single
We’re nearly done.
All instruments – drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitars, orchestration – are fully recorded. All that remains is the vocals, which we’re working on right now.
And we’ll say this: it already sounds huge.
We’re aiming for a July 2025 release. We’ll announce the title and artwork soon, but if you like Orden Ogan, Powerwolf, and classic RPG energy – you’ll want to hear this.

The Maw, one of the ancient Sigils of Shadow Fen – a mark of power linked to chaos, war, and unrelenting force – has begun to stir.
It is said that when a soul is worthy, the Sigil finds its bearer.
And now, it may have chosen.
Nothing is confirmed. No name will yet be spoken.
