Forged in the mists of the Fenlands surrounding Peterborough, Shadow Fen is an apocalyptic power metal band delivering anthemic, cinematic metal rooted in myth, battle, and resistance.
Formed in 2024, the band combines heroic storytelling with soaring melodies, symphonic textures, hard-hitting riffs, layered vocals, and a unifying spirit of defiance.
Each song summons a world where courage stands against chaos, and every chorus becomes a call to arms.

Where Vanguard drew a line in the dirt and dared the darkness to cross it, Victory Brew kicks in the door to the tavern afterwards. Shadow Fen’s second single is a fist-in-the-air anthem to the drink you raise with the people who were there when it mattered: before the battle, after the battle, and during the bits no one talks about. The track charges through driving guitars accompanied by a grand orchestra, and a chorus built for bellowing along with strangers who, by the second pint, are strangers no longer.
The victory brew itself is not a recipe. It is any drink, in any vessel, shared with intent. The contents of the glass are irrelevant. The moment is everything.

Vanguard (Debut Single)

Vanguard is Shadow Fen’s rallying cry, a bold, defiant debut single that captures the sound of warriors standing united at the edge of the abyss. The track pulses with adrenaline, weaving together thunderous drums, twin guitars, and soaring vocals to tell the story of a desperate last stand against nameless horrors.
The chant “We are Vanguard!” echoes through the chorus as both a battle cry and a vow, underscoring the song’s themes of courage, solidarity, and the unbreakable will to protect what remains.
